What we collect

Account details (name, email, phone, postcode, town, county), job posts and quotes you write, reviews, and for trades: professional details you choose to share (trade, coverage areas, certifications, insurance status). Passwords are stored hashed (bcrypt); we never see them in plain text.

How we use it

• Matching jobs to trades in the right area — the core service.
• Notifications about your jobs, quotes and leads (in-app and email).
• A daily lead-digest email for trades (only jobs matched to you).
• Platform safety: verification, moderation and fraud prevention.

What others see

Job posts show your town, county and postcode area — never your full postcode or contact details. Full contact details are shared only between a client and the one trade whose quote they accept. Trade profiles are public by design (that's your shop window).

Your rights (UK GDPR)

You can access, correct or delete your data at any time — email us and we'll action it within 30 days. We keep data only as long as your account exists plus any period the law requires. We don't sell personal data. Ever.
